Time for a Make-over!

A friend of mine suggested that I keep this piece, but redo it. I have never done that before. Should be interesting. I seen some cute ideas the other day when I was at Hobby Lobby. Is paint or decoupage the way to go? I guess I am going to have to google some ideas. She also suggested I buy new pulls for this piece as well. Not sure how long that project will take me, but I will be sure to post after photos.

Keep, Sale or Give Away?

I have had these shoes for probably 10 years or longer. I NEVER wear them. Seriously, I don't know why I keep them. What do you think I should do with these vinyl platforms?

I wanna party like it's 1999

Update

I have been reading a book called The House That Cleans Itself. Trying to gain ideas how to make my home flow the way I want it or need it to for me and my new single parent life style. Some of the ideas in that book are interesting. For example one idea is changing your house to match your behavior. I love that. Sometimes is way harder to change a behavior especially the behavior of other personalities in your home. Which in my home there are 4 different personalities that I have to work with (including myself). The first step of this project is to take pictures of every room just the way it is so you can get an honest perspective of each room. I am mortified at the pictures I have taken so far lol. I'm sure you are curious now! Should I humiliate myself in front of millions of people? Perhaps if I get enough nudging from my readers I will. ;) Maybe...

Also, a site called FlyLady.com suggest "decluttering". She suggest that you start a little at a time. Check out this link if your curious about the process How to Declutter. For me dejunking is a way for me to start fresh as I venture in my new life.

Today I am going to light my torch, put on my armor, and head into the dark dungeon I call my closet. So here I go. Check in with you later...
I am doing some spring cleaning. :) Simplifying perhaps recycling some hidden treasures back into the fabric of my home. I thought it could be fun to blog the adventures of dark mysterious places in my home that hold all my unused and forgot items and perhaps treasures as hidden within the heap? I thought it could be fun to take pictures of the obscure items, get your vote on what to do with the stuff. Maybe take farewell and/or welcome home pictures so to speak. Maybe you can give me idea's how to revamp old items into something new? Maybe this project can be a green experience as well. I never thought I'd say this but, am actually getting excited about entering the dungeon of stuff and seeing what happens to it. Join me on my journey. I anticipate your guidance and ideas!
